After a first season focused nearly entirely on violin-piano duo repertoire, I am looking forward to presenting more chamber music programs this season! In this performance, I am joined again by close friends and colleagues Jinhee Park (piano) and Chase Park (cello).

Our program begins with Debussy's Piano Trio, written when the composer was only 18 years old; very little in the music hints at the modal harmonic language and unique style that developed in his later music. After, we will perform Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in C minor, a tumultuous, spiritual, and joyous work. As is now tradition, we will gather on Zoom for a post-concert discussion and look forward to diving deeper into the music and our music-making!

We are committed to exploring more of the piano trio repertoire this year and intend to share our discoveries with you in the coming months. Even if you are unable to join in real time, RSVP and enjoy this high-quality livestream at your convenience!
